Well, the Bye Week is over… we’ve all had time to rest up, and take a collective deep breath.
The Vikings will be at home this week against the Houston Texans. Both teams come in at 3-4.
I really feel that the Vikings NEED to win this game to salvage the season. The only way they’re going [...]

Ugh.
Read the article here.
To summarize, both Pat and Kevin Williams have possibly failed a drug test. They were caught with something in their system that is often used to mask steroid use. If the NFL determines that that was the likely use for this drug, they will be suspended 4 games.
I think our backups at [...]
The Vikings can’t lose today.
It’s sad that this is the only week I’ve felt confident in that for a while.

Vikings fans, meet Visanthe Shiancoe.
(Bio taken from wikipedia article found here)
Visanthe Shiancoe (pronounced /Vi-SAN-tee SHANK-oh/) [...]
The Vikings lost to the Bears yesterday 48-41. (Read the NFL.com recap here)
It was an extremely frustrating game to watch. There are a lot of reasons that the Vikings lost. Let’s go through a couple of them.
The Vikings scored 41 points and couldn’t win
The Vikings don’t score 41 points very often. The fact that they scored [...]
UGH!
I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I’ll give a more indepth post tomorrow morning, but that was ugly.
Our defense played bad, our offense played bad, our special teams played bad, and our coaching was bad.
I guess we were okay other than that, though.
Ugh.
I think the Vikings have a decent shot today if they can keep a few things under control.
1). Devon Hester
The CAN NOT let Hester have big returns. No offense to Reggie Bush, but Hester might be the most potentially dangerous return man in the NFL, and the Vikings have sucked at covering kicks this year. [...]
Thomas Tapeh is gone (Read the article here)
There has been something brewing for several weeks now as Tahi has been playing pretty much all of the full back time in the games. The report says his name is off the locker, though, and that the locker is empty. He’s apparently no longer on the roster. [...]
