Week 10 Player of the game: Adrian Peterson

Okay, so yeah, this one was a no brainer.

My player of the game for this past Sunday is obviously Adrian Peterson.

   -30 rushes for 192 yards.

   -3 catches for 33 yards

Those stats alone are good enough for him to be player of the game, but Vikings fans saw something in Adrian Peterson that we’ve never seen before in him… or possibly in any running back.

Quarterbacks in the NFL have been known to take over a game and put the team on their shoulders… to WILL their team to victory.  Well, that’s exactly what Adrian Peterson did this past Sunday from the running back position.  There was a look in his eyes that I’ve never seen before, and I think I’ve watched almost every regular season game he’s played in.   (Well, all but 2 or so).  You could look at the man and know that he was determined to find a way for his team to win, and that’s exactly what he did.  He strapped the whole team to his back and went to work.

Vikings fans are always thankful for Adrian Peterson, but this past Sunday he gave us another reason for that!
