As much as I hate to bring this up, we may be talking about this a lot….. again.
Is it possible that Brett Favre will be a Viking this year?

In a weird way, it’s almost MORE possible this year than it was last. I mean, let’s face it… no matter how much some people wanted [...]

To me it’s almost more interesting to go around to NFL blogs and see what other fans are saying about the upcoming Super Bowl than it is to see what professional sports writers are saying.  Here are a few links about the Cardinals that I have found interesting…
Why Atlanta Wants Arizona to Win the Super [...]

We all know how great he is, but now it’s obvious that so do the fans that voted for the Fed Ex Players of the Year.   (Drew Brees was voted the Fed Ex Air player of the year)
Here are Peterson’s amazing stats from this year….

1,760 Rushing Yards
4.8 Yards Per Carry

Former Vikings OC Scott Linehan signed on to the be OC in Detroit.  He recently turned down a job in San Fransisco for the same position.

The college football season is over, and there’s only one more game (well, two if you count the pro bowl, I guess) in the NFL season, which means it’s time for draft speculation to begin.
Last week, ESPN’s draft “guru” Mel Kiper released his first mock draft.  Here is the first round…

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ punter Mitch Berger is another former Viking who will be involved in the Super Bowl this coming weekend.

Mitch was a punter for the Vikings during the late 90s, and during most of his time in Minnesota, he was also the kick off specialist.
Berger also spent some time playing for his Super Bowl [...]

Former Vikings running back Mewelde Moore now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, so he will be going to his first Super Bowl.

Moore was always technically a backup in Minnesota, but due to injuries of players ahead of him (such as Michael Bennett, Ontario Smith, and Chester Taylor), he often got quite a bit of [...]

Earlier I wrote that the Rams had received permission to interview Vikings Special Teams Coordinator Paul Ferraro.
I just read an article on Access Vikings (on the Star Tribune website) that said that Ferraro has officially joined the Rams as their linebackers coach.
So (sarcasm warning) I guess we’ll just have to go out and find someone [...]

Coach Childress has given the Rams permission to talk to Special Teams Coordinator Paul Ferraro.  Ferraro is friends with the Rams new head coach, and will likely get the job there.
To be perfectly blunt…. good riddance.
Our special teams were AWFUL this year.  Completely terrible.  I wanted to see Ferraro out of that job anyway.
So, Paul [...]
