It’s pretty obvious to most Vikings fans that the Quarterback position is going to have to be one of the major focuses of the team during the off-season.  A lot of Vikings bloggers are talking about it, too.  Let’s take a look at some of them…

More thoughts on Matt Cassel
This was written at “Grant’s Tomb”.  He takes a look at Matt Cassel, the possibilities of the Vikings ending up with him, and whether or not that would be a good decision in the long run.

Garcia done in Tampa
This is from Access Vikings (from the Star Tribune).  Jeff Garcia will NOT be in Tampa next year.  Maybe he’ll be a Viking?

Is Garcia Inevitable?
Another look at the Garcia story, this one from The Viking Age

Wilf Says Vikings Not Interested in Favre
Here is an article from Vikings Gab.  Owner Zygi Wilf says that the Vikings are NOT interested in Favre this season

Frerotte Again Says He Wants to Start in 09
Another article from Vikings Gab.  Frerotte wants to start next season.  (Please, for the love of all that is Purple and Gold… NOOOOOOO)

Dear Gus: No One Cares
And another from The Viking Age… another look at the Frerotte story.

You know, there really are a lot of possibilities at QB… besides Tarvaris Jackson and Gus Frerotte, and besides the finally-dying chance of Brett Favre, we need to keep our eye on Cassell, Garcia, Derek Anderson, Sage Rosenfels, and even though the chances are very very slight, Kurt Warner and Kerry Collins.

I think the Vikings will make a QB move this year.  I just hope they do it quick so that they have plenty of time to build up the rest of the team as well.
