-About this Minnesota Vikings Blog-

MeHey There! My name is Jason, otherwise known as “The Jazzy One” (or often just Jazz). I’m the Vikings Blogger here on Content Quake, and let me say, I think they picked the right guy! :-) If there are three things that are true about me, it’s that I love the Vikings, I’m good at writing a lot, and I can talk about the Vikings longer than most people care to listen.

I’ve lived in Iowa my whole life, but my dad grew up in Minnesota, which means I grew up watching the Twins and the Vikings (he left Minnesota pre-Timberwolves). I remember (vaguely) watching Tommy Kramer lead his amazing 2 minute offense. I remember when the famous “Carter” in Minnesota was #81 Anthony Carter. I remember watching Wade Wilson tear up the playoffs only to have a game-winning pass dropped in the endzone by Darrin Nelson.

I grew up, though, being mostly a basketball fan with baseball and football taking a backseat, but somehow about 10 years ago that all changed. I’m not sure what it was, exactly, although I suppose it had something to do with me getting out of highschool and college and realizing that my dreams of becoming an NBA superstar were probably gone. :-) With the (second) retirement of Michael Jordan, the NBA also lost a lot of my interest, and that just happened to be when my favorite football team got an exciting new rookie named Randy Moss. Although I had been watching the Vikings every week (during the season, anyway) for about 19 years before this point, it was then that the Vikings officially took over top billing in my sports world. There’s been no turning back since.

My goal is to make this the most amazing Minnesota Vikings Blog possible. If you have any ideas on how I can improve, please let me know!
